How Termite Bait Works

Firstly, unobtrusive termite monitoring and baiting stations are installed around the perimeter of your home. Your Presto-X termite specialist will regularly monitor the bait stations for any signs of termite activity.

• Because of their natural foraging behavior, termites migrate toward the stations, attracted to the stations’ conditions (bait and shelter). Once termites discover the station, they eat the bait inside and then travel back to their nest where they share the termite bait with other nest mates.
• Once termites begin sharing the bait, it begins killing large numbers of termites in the colony. The size of the colony gradually starts to reduce until it can no longer support itself, causing it to collapse (die off).
