Appearance

• Adult – 1/4"–3/8" in length. Black with a whitish band across the fore–part of the elytra.
• Larva – comet shape. Quick moving. Brown in colour and hairy. Migrate to pupate in solid material.

Lifecycle

• 2–3 months at 18–25°C.

Habits

• Feeds on various animal products including cheese.
