Reading, PA, Dec. 23, 2013 – The Rentokil family of pest control companies (Ehrlich Pest Control, Western Exterminator, and Presto-X Pest Control) today announced that Presto-X technician Robert “Corky” Long was named PCT Technician of the Year in the commercial category from PCT Magazine. The PCT Technician of the Year Awards annually recognizes the standout service professional in three categories: residential, commercial and termite categories. Nominees must have a minimum of five years in the industry, participate in educational meetings, exhibit excellence in safety, customer relations, and leadership skills, and be active in community service.
Corky Long joined the Presto-X office in Springfield, Mo. nine years ago. During that time, he has received Presto-X Service Technician of the year five times – in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012 for outstanding service to his Springfield, Mo. clients. He routinely helps his commercial clients prepare for third party compliance audits which include pest analysis reports that provide necessary insight and understanding of pest activity, allowing for deployment of rapid preventative measures. As a result of his expertise and experience, Corky Long has an outstanding record for receiving perfect scores on these audits which, in turn, helps his clients pass their pest control compliance inspections.
