How Monitoring & Baiting Works
Our monitoring and baiting service program includes the installation of unobtrusive termite bait stations installed around the perimeter of your property. Your Presto-X Termite Technician will routinely monitor these stations for any signs of termite activity.
Termites migrate toward the bait stations because of their natural foraging behavior. They are attracted to the stations’ conditions. Once they discover the station, termites eat the bait, and share it with other nest mates.
Termites travel back to their colonies with the bait, which is gradually introduced to the colony, killing large numbers of termites in the colony. This reduces the size of the colony until it can no longer support itself causing it to collapse.
